Precision Pro Duo GPS Golf Speaker

The Duo is a small magnetic golf speaker from Precision Pro that calls out GPS yardages, slope-adjusted numbers and your own layups through its app.

Why it made the list

The Duo gives you spoken GPS distances for less than most Bushnell or Blue Tees speakers. Connect it to the Precision Pro app and it reads out GPS yardages, slope-adjusted numbers and your own layup plans. Precision Pro is best known for its laser rangefinders, so the slope feature here will feel familiar to its rangefinder owners.

It is also small and flexible. A built-in magnet holds it to the cart, and the included carabiner clips it to a bag, so it works for riders and walkers.

What it does well

• Audible GPS distances to thousands of courses worldwide through the app.
• Slope-adjusted yardages that account for elevation change.
• Personal layup distances read out loud.
• Interchangeable grills let you swap in a different design.

The slope feature is rare at this price. On a hilly course, a “plays like” number helps you pick the right club for an uphill or downhill shot in casual rounds.

Who it’s for

This suits golfers who want spoken yardages on a budget, walkers who need something light enough to hang on a bag, and anyone who likes to customize their gear. It is also a good gift for a golfer who already uses the Precision Pro app.

Who should skip it

It is water-resistant, not waterproof, so it is a poor fit if you play through heavy rain. If you want to see the hole or hazards on a screen, look at a touchscreen speaker. And if you mostly play competitions, the slope feature has to stay off.

Key specs, explained

Precision Pro rates the battery for about 10 hours, enough for a round with some left over, and it charges over USB. “Water-resistant” with no IP number usually means splashes and light rain only, so keep it covered in a downpour. The GPS runs through the app on your phone, so you need your phone with you for distances.

How it compares

The Blue Tees Player Go GPS Speaker also reads yardages out loud and adds an IPX7 waterproof rating and a 16-plus hour battery claim, but it has no slope feature. The Bushnell Wingman Mini GPS Speaker is another small bag speaker with an IPX7 rating and Bushnell’s app. Pick the Duo if slope-adjusted numbers and swappable grills matter more to you than waterproofing.

Good to know

Slope-adjusted distances are not allowed in a competition round under the Rules of Golf, so turn that feature off for club events. Plain GPS distances are fine unless the committee bans distance devices with a local rule. Precision Pro includes a one-year warranty. The brand’s own store showed the Duo sold out today, so we list a retailer that has it in stock.
