The verdict
Why it made the cut
Callaway’s tour ball, with a urethane cover for greenside spin and a fast mantle for speed.
Why it made the list
Chrome Tour is Callaway’s answer to the Titleist Pro V1. A fast mantle layer adds ball speed off the driver, while the tour-level urethane cover gives you the bite you want on chips and wedge shots. It holds a 5-star average from 390+ reviews on Callaway’s site.
Good to know
A tour ball pays off most if you have a moderate to fast swing and care about spin around the greens. Slower swingers usually get more from the Supersoft.
