The verdict

Why it made the cut

Callaway’s main 2026 driver: fast off the face, easy to trust, and adjustable enough to fit most swings.

Why it made the list

Quantum Max is the model most golfers should look at first in Callaway’s new lineup. The Tri-Force Face and Ai-optimized face mapping keep ball speed up on off-center hits, and the 460cc head sits behind the ball with a confident, full shape. Neutral and draw weight settings let you tune the flight without buying a different head, and it holds a 5-star average from 360+ reviews on Callaway’s site.

Good to know

Buying direct from Callaway lets you pick loft, shaft, flex and hand at checkout. The 12° loft is left-handed custom only. If you fight a big slice, compare it with the Quantum Max D.
