Voice Caddie T11 Pro GPS Golf Watch

The T11 Pro is Voice Caddie’s flagship golf watch, with green undulation maps, slope and wind data on a 1.2-inch Super OLED touchscreen and no fees.

Why it made the list

Most golf watches stop at the edge of the green. The T11 Pro keeps going. Its Smart Putt View shows green undulation data on a map, and its Long Putt Guide gives you an aim direction when your ball sits more than 5 meters from the pin. A Slope Guide tells you whether the putt runs uphill, downhill or flat to the hole and past it.

Off the green it gives slope-adjusted distances, wind direction and speed, and club recommendations. More than 40,000 courses come preloaded, and Voice Caddie charges no subscription or extra fee for any of these features.

What it does well

• Green undulation data and a putt view with elevation and distance
• Slope-adjusted distances from Voice Caddie’s V-A.I. 3.5 system
• Wind direction and speed with club recommendations
• Shot and putt tracking, plus a tempo practice mode

The touchscreen makes it quick to use. Tap a bunker or hazard to see its front and back distance, or press and hold the green to see its width, depth and slope arrows.

Who it’s for

The T11 Pro is for golfers who lose strokes on the greens and want help reading them. It also suits players who like lots of data on the wrist, such as wind and club suggestions, but don’t want to pay a yearly fee for it. Left-handed golfers get a compatible layout too.

Who should skip it

Skip it if you want a simple yardage watch. The T11 Pro shows a lot of information, and golfers who only want one number may find it busy. It is also a golf watch first, so it does not replace a full fitness smartwatch.

Key specs, explained

The watch measures 2.0 x 2.0 x 0.6 inches and weighs 1.7 ounces. The 1.2-inch Super OLED screen is fully touch controlled, with one button. Battery life is rated at up to 12 hours in golf mode and up to 10 days in watch mode, from a 405mAh lithium polymer battery. Twelve hours covers two or more rounds.

Voice Caddie lists a margin of error of plus or minus 3 yards. The watch works from minus 4 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit and connects to the MyVoiceCaddie app by Bluetooth. In the box you get the watch, a portable charging dock, an extra white strap and a user manual.

How it compares

The Garmin Approach S44 GPS Golf Smartwatch costs $299.99, but Garmin charges for green contours and PlaysLike. The Shot Scope G6 GPS Golf Watch costs $149.99 with no fees, but it has no slope, wind or green undulation data. Choose the T11 Pro if green reading matters most.

Good to know

The T11 Pro is $279.99 at Voice Caddie right now, down from $349.99. It comes with a 1 year limited warranty and a 30 day return policy, and shipping is free in the contiguous U.S. Other features include Course Preview at the tee, auto zoom as you reach the fairway, Active Green View that turns the green to your angle, Green Pointing for blind shots and a customizable pin placement.

Slope and wind data are not allowed in most competitions unless the committee permits them, so check your settings before a club event.
